An Update

Hello everyone!

I hope you’re all well and are having a wonderful year so far!

It’s been a busy few months for us and you may have noticed that my blog posts have been slightly different and a bit less frequent- well, there’s been a bit going on behind the scenes and I thought I’d give you a little update.

Adventure Wheels began as an online journal, for memories to look back on and as a way for us to share our trips with whoever may be interested. When I started writing about our very first trip in the caravan I never would have imagined that even a handful of people might read it, so everything that has happened since is just mind boggling!

It all started last October, almost a year to the day since that very first trip, when I got invited to join the Caravan Writers Guild. This came as quite a surprise to us for a number of reasons, but mostly because we feel like tiny little fish in a huge ocean full of big caravan writers, and it was never the direction we intended to go in when we first started- not that we had any intended direction at all.

After a bit of thought I realised that it was an opportunity that was too good to miss, I genuinely enjoy writing about our adventures and if there’s a possibility I’ll be able to reach and inspire more people then it’s definitely worth doing!

Since becoming a member a number of unexpected but exciting opportunities have come up, its early days at the moment so I don’t want to say too much, but I’ll keep you posted!

Looking to the future, Adventure Wheels will remain a place for us to share our adventures with you all but perhaps also become a resource for information. We want to continue showing you the great things you can do with a wheelchair accessible caravan, but additionally offer advice, information and perhaps a product review or two.

We have some big plans coming up this year and we can’t wait to share them with you. Thank you all so much for your ongoing support. Just the fact that anyone reads these is amazing but all of your likes, comments and shares really do mean the world to us!
