If you have ever attended a big event at the NEC in Birmingham then you will understand that it pays to be organised. So with the Motorhome and Caravan show 2019 just around the corner, I thought I’d share some of our best tips that we’ve picked up from several years of visiting.
Since the end of the year is just around the corner I thought I’d take a little look back at our first full year with our beloved adventure-mobile.
We can’t quite believe how quickly it’s flown by, yet at the same time it feels like we’ve had it forever. And although it has only been a year, we’ve become so comfortable with the whole caravanning thing- it really is our home from home!
With storm Diana in full swing and no sign of improvement in the forecast, we were contemplating cancelling our long weekend away. But after some deliberation we came to the conclusion that if it was going to continue raining horizontally we’d much rather spend the weekend bunkering down in a cosy caravan than stuck inside at home. But did this end up being the right decision?
In late October we were lucky enough to try out a brand new Bailey Phoenix, here’s what we got up to…
Pitched up at chapel lane, snacks packed, lists made, map revised… it was that time of year again- The Motorhome and Caravan show at the NEC!
After having a great time at the launch of the Bailey Phoenix we were thrilled and honoured to receive another invite in the post from Bailey. This time it was to the launch of the brand new Pegasus Grande range. We couldn’t wait to see it!
After having a wonderful time in sunny Cirencester we were looking forward to continuing our heatwave adventure on the south coast.
Having been incredibly lucky with the weather so far this summer, we were especially looking forward to hitching up and heading out for our next adventure in the caravan. This time we were off to Cirencester- Capital of The Cotswolds.
As you all know we have a Bailey caravan and are caravan enthusiasts in general. So when we received an invitation from Bailey themselves to attend the press launch of their brand new caravan range- the Phoenix- it was an offer we couldn’t turn down.

We’d dreamt of touring Scotland before we’d even picked up the caravan, so you can imagine our excitement when the time had come. We had booked all the campsites, planned out routes and packed everything we needed. We were finally ready to start this journey.
