ABOUT US

Hello! We are Karla and Stephen, a young couple from Dorset, UK. We met at school and have been putting up with each other since we were just 14 (I know, I’m not sure which of us deserves a medal more!).

But we are not your average couple. I have a genetic condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) which means that all of my muscles are weak and I need an electric wheelchair to get around. You may think this would hold us back, but we’ve never allowed my disability to stop us doing what we want to do, we might just have to do things in a slightly different way. Both Stephen and I have always been adventurous and love being outdoors, spending most of our free time going for scenic walks/rolls and exploring new places, so a caravan seemed like our ideal way to travel. But the lifestyle appealed to us in many more ways, it not only gives you great spontaneity and freedom to explore the whole of Europe, but it also eliminates the hassle of finding wheelchair accessible accommodation- because we tow our very own “home-on-wheels” behind us everywhere we go. We love nothing more than hitching up and heading off on an adventure together, and have already travelled thousands of miles and made millions of memories, but there’s still so much to explore!
