About

This fantastic route is not only wheelchair accessible, but on a clear day it offers stunning views as far as the eye can see.

The trail is part of the South West Coast Path and begins at Start Point car park, where there is a gate that leads you straight onto the tarmac path. This runs in a gradual downhill slope to Start Point Lighthouse (0.6 miles), then back uphill (0.6 miles) to return to the starting point- Start Point car park.

Being one of the most exposed peninsulas on the English coastline, you might prefer to visit on a calm day- but if you’re like us, you’ll think that high winds and rain just add to the adventure!

Note: Manual wheelchair users may need assistance as the climb back up to the car park is relatively steep.
