Oh My Pod, What a Weekend in Devon!
At the end of April we were lucky enough to be invited to come and try out a new luxury camping pod situated in the beautiful Devonshire countryside. We have gotten used to towing our accommodation around behind us, so this was going to be a different kind of adventure- but having looked around an Omnipod at the February Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show, we knew we were in for a treat!
Sunshine and Scones
This Easter we decided to do the least cliche thing ever, and have a caravanning trip to Cornwall!Stephen had enjoyed many holidays there as a child, but surprisingly we were yet to visit together, and we couldn’t wait!

Naidex- A Wheelie Good Day Out
This year we were excited to be attending the Naidex Show for the very first time. “What is Naidex?” I hear you ask. It turns out that it’s the most established exhibition in Europe dedicated to people with disabilities, and a place where trade, professionals and consumers can all get together. We couldn’t wait to get stuck in!
An Update
Hello everyone! I hope you’re all well and are having a wonderful year so far. It’s been a busy few months for us and you may have noticed that my blog posts have been slightly different and a bit less frequent- well, there’s been a bit going on behind the scenes and I thought I’d give you a little update.
The Accessible Camping Show
When you have a disability it can be all too easy to assume that you can’t easily get out and explore in a leisure vehicle, but you’d be surprised at the amount of assistive devices available. From grab handles and auto levelling systems to profiling beds and hoists, there really is no limit.

If you have ever attended a big event at the NEC in Birmingham then you will understand that it pays to be organised. So with the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2020 just around the corner, I thought I’d share some of our best tips that we've picked up from several years of visiting.
Four Seasons of Caravanning
Since the end of the year is just around the corner I thought I’d take a little look back at our first full year with our beloved adventure-mobile.We can’t quite believe how quickly it’s flown by, yet at the same time it feels like we’ve had it forever. And although it has only been a year, we’ve become so comfortable with the whole caravanning thing- it really is our home from home!
A Wintery Weekend in Wareham
With storm Diana in full swing and no sign of improvement in the forecast, we were contemplating cancelling our long weekend away. But after some deliberation we came to the conclusion that if it was going to continue raining horizontally we’d much rather spend the weekend bunkering down in a cosy caravan than stuck inside at home. But did this end up being the right decision?
A Phoenix In Autumn
In late October we were lucky enough to try out a brand new Bailey Phoenix, here’s what we got up to...
NEC Motorhome and Caravan Show 2018

An Abundance of Tulips- Our First European Road Trip
I want to take you back to a slightly different, BC (before caravan) adventure. It’s May 2017 and we had been saving long and hard for our caravan so the wanderlust was setting in badly. We were counting down the months until we’d have our very own adventure-mobile but we needed something to quench our thirst in the meantime. It’s no secret that my favourite flower is a tulip so where better to go than The Netherlands?!
Bailey Pegasus Grande Launch- Big Caravan, Big Adventures!
After having a great time at the launch of the Bailey Phoenix we were thrilled and honoured to receive another invite in the post from Bailey. This time it was to the launch of the brand new Pegasus Grande range. We couldn’t wait to see it!
